WARD MISSIONARIES
Jane and Jared Balaich
Jane Balaich is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. She was a convert to the church when she was 18. Friends invited her to early morning seminary and she immediately gained a testimony of the Book of Mormon.
Jared Balaich hails from the great state of Colorado and comes from a line of Mormon pioneers. He served his mission in the Philippines Cauayan Mission and learned to love the people there (and a lot of the food, too!).
Jane and Jared met at BYU in 2011 (at the Singles Ward!). They were sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple in 2013, shortly before moving into the Columbia 1st Ward. Jared's educational goals brought the couple across the country to Maryland. Jared graduated from BYU in Genetics and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at Johns Hopkins University. Jane graduated from BYU in Economics and is currently working in business operations.
The newlyweds are excited about missionary work and are grateful for an opportunity to serve their neighbors and friends in
Columbia, Maryland. You can read more about Jane and Jared at mormon.org.
